In Perth, WA, it costs a whopping $3.6 billion to live with congestion. Adding more roads has never and will not ever improve that - removing vehicles from the network will. It just also happens to reduce the time spent in traffic (you are the traffic!) and might just have some health benefits too.

Oh, and that $3.6 billion; it doesn’t include the costs to the planet, which will continue to unfold until we roll-back car usage.
